Introduction
Recently our team was tasked with removing several heavy boilers from the roof of a three-story house. The objective was to safely dismantle 7-8 solar boilers, each weighing 80-100 kg, from a height of 13 meters. The operation had to be completed within a strict timeframe to ensure smooth and safe handling.
Details of the Operation
- Equipment Used: Scania R164G 8x4 FASSI F900XP 20 tone
- Location: Strada Albatrosului, Constanta
- Task Details: Removal of 7-8 solar boilers from the rooftop of 13 meters high
- Duration: 1-2 hours of work as estimated
- Operator: Bogdan Chirita
Operational Process
The project began with thorough site preparation, ensuring the crane truck was set up securely on the concrete yard. With the house having 3 floors plus a ground level, the task involved careful maneuvering to dismantle the solar boilers one by one from their rooftop. Our crane truck could handle the 13-meter height and the combined weight of the equipment. The operation proceeded smoothly despite the challenge and ensured minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
Client Collaboration
Throughout the project, our communication with the client was clear and consistent. Although the exact timing for the job was uncertain until the morning of the project, we stayed flexible to accommodate their schedule. Their cooperation and the clear scope of work enabled us to complete the task efficiently and within the estimated timeframe.
