In May, Kran was contacted by a client to help them in an aerial operation for a motor replacement using a mobile crane in Adamclisi.
The job consisted of lifting a 20 kgs motor engine at a height of about 30 meters. Aside from the engine, a worker is also raised as he is in charge of replacing the old engine and bringing it back to the ground.
Usually, renting an aerial working platform is necessary for working at heights. However, due to the type of job and height limitations, using a truck crane is the only option, as its boom can reach 34 meters, and a worker’s basket can be attached at the boom’s end.
After adhering to safety measures, our crane operator started lifting the engine and the worker above. His level of experience was showcased when he maintained a steady lift to provide a stable and safe working environment for the worker at heights.
