Installing Sandwich Panels with the Help of a Truck-Mounted Boom Lift

Kran had another successful project in February when it provided truck-mounted boom lift hire services for the installation of sandwich panels for a local client’s warehouse in the port of Agigea.

The project consisted of lifting and installing 4 sandwich panels weighing 30 kg each on the roof of a concrete warehouse at a height of 14 m. Each panel was 4 m long, 92 cm wide and 5 cm thick.

This was a very important and difficult job because of the windy weather which made the work difficult, as the panels were quite large and the wind made it difficult to manoeuvre them at that height.

It was an excellent opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our equipment and experienced team and help our client complete the job on time and within budget.
