Lifting Stainless Steel Cylinders in Constanta

Introduction

For this project in Constanta, our team provided two crane trucks, Scania 124G 8x4 FASSI F660XP (20 tons) and Scania R164G 8x4 FASSI F900XP (20 tons), to lift and relocate large stainless steel cylinders. The operation required careful handling to ensure safe lifting and transport, including the movement of additional tanks.

Technical Details of the Operation

• Equipment used: Scania 124G 8x4 FASSI F660XP 20 tons and Scania R164G 8x4 FASSI F900XP 20 tons
• Location: Constanta
• Duration: 6 hours, according to the work estimate
• Task: Lifting a long cylinder and repositioning it horizontally

Operational Process

We used the Scania 124G 8x4 FASSI F660XP to lift and reposition the stainless steel cylinders. Based on the client requirements, the cylinders had to be handled horizontally. Additional tanks were moved using both crane trucks, including the Scania R164G 8x4 FASSI F900XP, to keep the operation safe for the surrounding infrastructure.

After the relocation, we completed a final safety check to confirm that the operation met all safety standards and that the infrastructure was not affected.

Clear communication with the client was essential. Their technical details helped us plan every step, and we used additional transport rollers to support easier movement of the tanks. Together, we completed the project smoothly and without incidents.
